Spicy Cucumber Appetiser


Cucumbers are the fourth most cultivated vegetable in the world and known to be one of the best foods for your body's overall health, often referred to as a superfood. Here we have a recipe that you will love, it's slightly spicy, with a tinge of sweetness and sourish taste and the refreshing crunch of the cucumber will make you want more!

     2/3 Japanese Cucumbers

     3 cloves of garlic (diced)

     3 tbsp of Heng's Crispy Chili (more or less depending on preference)



    3 tbsp of sesame oil

    3 tbsp of black vinegar

    1 tbsp of soy sauce

    1 tsp of sugar



    1. Wash and cut the cucumber abt 1cm in thickness.

    2. Rub with salt and leave for 10mins.

    3. Fry the diced garlic in oil until brown. Drain the oil and keep aside.

    4. Mix all the sauce together.

    5. Rinse the cucumber and pat dry with paper towel.

    6. Pour the sauce mixture over the cucumber.

    7. Lastly, put Heng's Crispy Chili Sauce on the top and garnish with             the fried diced garlic.
